PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of effectively cooling the rotor of a motor and a motor which is equipped with a device for effectively cooling its rotor. SOLUTION: This provides a method and a device for cooling a motor. The device for cooling the motor contains a coolant within. The motor is equipped with a stator, a rotor magnetically coupled with the stator, and a hollow shaft coupled with the rotor.
