PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC machine capable of easily suppressing relative posi tional errors between a field magnet and a brush. SOLUTION: The DC machine comprises a yoke (1), an armature (2), a field magnet (3), and a brush (4). An integral-piece holder (6), in which a magnet holder (63) holding the field magnet is integrated with a brush holder (64) holding the brush, holds the field magnet and the brush. Since the field magnet and the brush are held by the integral-piece holder, relative angular errors occurring in between them, after fitting, is suppressed within a small tolerance for the integral-piece holder.
