PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to detect abnormal overheating of an exothermic body. SOLUTION: This exothermic body is constituted of a metal substrate 11, an insulation layer 12 installed on the metal substrate 11, the exothermic body 13 having a temperature coefficient installed on the insulation layer 12, a protecting layer 14 installed on the exothermic body, and a resistance detecting means 15 detecting the resistance of the exothermic body 13, and because the temperature of the exothermic body is enabled to be detected by detecting the resistance by means of the resistance detecting means, it is unnecessary for a temperature sensor to be newly installed, and the abnormal overheating can be detected by a simple constitution.
