PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the transfer of lubricants of a magnetic recording medium to a master carrier for magnetic transfer for recording information while maintaining durability and damage resistance of a flexible magnetic recording medium. SOLUTION: A nonmagnetic layer containing a lubricant which is 1 to 2 wt.% with respect to nonmagnetic powder and liquid at an environmental temperature for carrying out magnetic transfer, and a magnetic layer containing a lubricant which is liquid at an environmental temperature for carrying out magnetic transfer of an amount of 1/4 or lower of the lubricant contained in the coated liquid of the nonmagnetic layer are laminated in this order on a support, the master carrier for magnetic transfer having an irregularity pattern according to information to be transferred is bonded to a laminate to transfer information, and then the laminate is subjected to heat treatment.
