PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dish washer in which tableware can be washed without using a detergent. SOLUTION: In the dish washer 1, water is supplied to a washing tank 6 through a water-supply mechanism 8 and a washing agent stored within the washing tank 6 is sprayed toward the tableware within the washing tank 6 by a washing pump 9. A circuit 29 returning from the casing of the washing pump 9 to the bottom 13 of the washing tank 6 and an electrolytic unit 30 generating electrolytic water by electrolyzing water, which is placed in this circuit 29, are placed. Thick electrolytic water is obtained by electrolyzing by repeatedly flowing water into the electrolytic unit 30 by means of the washing pump 9. The tableware can be washed without using the detergent by the washing effect of the electrolytic water. Because water flows into the inside of the electrolytic unit 30 by the washing pump 9, it is possible to control attachment of garbage and scale, to raise electrolytic efficiency, and enhance durability.
