PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the 4-wire helical antenna of wide directivity. SOLUTION: A conductor wall 5 is provided around four helical radiation elements 1, 2, 3 and 4 arranged on a ground plate GP. By appropriately setting the diameter DWL and height hWL of the conductor wall 5, a power half-value width is widened compared to the case without the conductor wall and simultaneously axial ratio characteristics are improved.
