PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an implanting material allowing the molding of a surface shape including a curved surface while restraining increase of a manufacturing cost and capable of reducing dispersion of accuracy of the surface shape to show a relatively high-grade appearance by remarkably changing a manufacturing process of an implanting material for implanted letters or the like mounted to a dial of a timepiece with a mounting leg part inserted. SOLUTION: Blank shape parts 20b projecting from a surface 20a of a band- like material 20 are formed by pressing, and a blank base material 21 is formed by punching it out from the band-like material 20. Thereafter, the base part 21a of the blank base material 21 is removed by cutting, and the mounting leg part is formed by leaving a part of the base part 21a. Thereby, the surface shape having a curved surface can easily be formed, and the surface shape having high accuracy and small dispersion can be provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
