PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensitive magnetic oxygen analyzer. SOLUTION: The magnetic oxygen analyzer has a detecting part, which comprises a magnetic field generating means for generating a magnetic field from magnetic poles opposed to each other, a heating means arranged in a region (nonuniform magnetic field) in which the intensity of the magnetic field of the magnetic field generating means changes, and a magnetic wind (gas stream) sensor constituted of a heating element arranged at a location approximately not affected by the heat generated by the heating means. When the detecting part is arranged in a mixed gas containing oxygen, the magnetic wind sensor is exposed to a thermomagnetic wind which occurs in relation to the magnetic field, the heating of the heating means, and the concentration of the oxygen contained in the mixed gas. A change in the resistance value of the magnetic wind sensor which occurs in relation to the intensity of the thermomagnetic wind is detected as the concentration of the oxygen contained in the mixed gas in the magnetic oxygen analyzer. The magnetic wind sensor is arranged in a through hole, and the cross section of part of the hole in which the magnetic wind sensor is arranged is reduced to a size which does not approximately affect the function of the thermomagnetic sensor.
