PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the playability of DVD-Audio. SOLUTION: An audio reproducing method for a storage medium where many audio packs are recorded for each track and text information packs are recorded discretely between the audio packs comprises: storing the text information in a memory so that the audio data corresponding to the text information included in a text information pack can be specified; displaying text information of a specified track; and starting reproducing audio data from the audio pack corresponding to a specified text information part when the specified text information part is indicated.
