PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making perforator for a seedling capable of nearly surely pulling up soil in each of the cylindrical parts simply by rotating the cylindrical part inserted into the soil according to simple constitution and always successively boring holes of a nearly constant size by simple operation, realizable with the simple constitution and having excellent mass productivity and practicality. SOLUTION: The perforator for the seedling is obtained by installing a cylindrical part 2 for inserting into the soil in the lower part of a handle part 1, forming the inside diameter of the upper part thereof in a somewhat larger size than that of an opening 2A in the lower end, holding the handle part 1, inserting the cylindrical part 2 into the soil 4, pulling up the cylindrical part 2, thereby withdrawing the soil 4 in each of the cylindrical parts 2 and forming a hole 5 for transplanting the seedling in the soil surface. The perforator is provided with protruding parts 3 for breaking the soil 4 in the cylindrical part 2 during inserting thereof formed on the inner surface of the cylindrical part 2 by rotating the cylindrical part 2 in the soil 4.
