PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method capable of easily molding a segment of stable shape, and to provide a mold structure used for the molding method. SOLUTION: A rectangular wire 16 is sandwiched between a pair of female/ male molds 18 which contact/come off on a first plane to mold a 2-dimensional crank wire 20 (2-dimension molding step). Then, it is molded into a 3-dimensional angle wire 26 in which a crank 20a of the 2-dimensional crank wire 20 constitutes an apex with a pair of angle female/male molds 22 which contact/ come off on a second plane almost perpendicular to the first plane (3-dimension molding step). Further, with the female/male molds 22 kept contacted, the part outside a coil end formation region including the apex part of the 3-dimensional angle wire 26 is bent toward the insert direction of a slot by a female bending mold 30a (slot part molding step) to complete a segment 10.
