PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network facsimile equipment and a line selection method in which the picture information of electronic mail requested to repeat can be transferred by selecting an appropriate line when transferring the picture information of the electronic mail. SOLUTION: The network facsimile equipment is provided with a communication reservation information table for storing a transfer destination when electronic mail data are received by an electronic mail receiving means, and transmitting processing is carried out by controlling a switching means for switching a line to be connected and a facsimile transmission means for carrying out a facsimile transmission according to information stored in the communication reservation information table.
