SUBSTANCE: gasoline additive for use in internal combustion engines is product of etherification of catalytic cracking C4-C5-hydrocarbon fraction with methyl alcohol. Gasoline-based fuel composition contains 1 to 30% of such additive. Base gasoline contains gasoline fractions boiling up to 225 C or mixture of gasoline fractions and isomerization product.
