METHOD FOR MAKING OVAL FLAT AND(OR) CONVEX BOTTOMS AND APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING THE SAME

FIELD: machine engineering, namely manufacture of flat and(or) convex bottoms. SUBSTANCE: method is realized at using profiling device in which follower is made of strip bent as oval and it is movably mounted on base in gap between guiding disc and guiding arc- shaped member with rollers. Spacing between center of guiding disc and working edges of tool is set equal to small radius of oval of oval. Follower with part is moved for providing motion of tool along oval path. EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities due to making bottoms of different size and type. 2 cl, 1 dwg
