PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core device capable of reducing a core turning force in manufacturing and performing fine adjustment of layering width. SOLUTION: In this core device, a first core member formed by continuously arranging a plurality of plate-shaped first core pieces and a second core member formed by continuously arranging plate-shaped second core pieces are alternately layered in a layering direction, so that a position between the respective first core pieces of the first core member and a position between the respective second core pieces of the second core member may be shifted in the longitudinal direction, and edges which are adjacent to each other may be piled in the layering direction of the respective core pieces. A joint means for jointing the edges of the respective core pieces adjacent to each other is provided, and the respective core pieces are turned by the jointing means to be formed in an annular form or a rectangular form. The respective piles in the layering direction between the first core member and the second core member is provided so as to be set by fewer pieces at the layering edge than the one at the layering central part.
