PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly hold a clamp of a disk. SOLUTION: A system controller 304 supplies a drive signal which makes an elevating actuator 206 provide climbing power to a disk stage 220, moves the disk stage 220 to the direction of a support stage 210, and chucks a disk 151 in a disk tray 152 drawn in between the disk stage 220 and the support stage 210, and clamps it between a turn table 202 set in the disk stage 220 and a clamper 201 set up in the support stage 210. When reproducing of the disk 151 is started, the system controller 304 outputs at predetermined interval the drive signal, which makes the elevating actuator 206 provide the climbing power to the disk stage 220, and if the clamp power of the disk 151 provided by the turntable 202 and the clamper 201 is weakened, it is restored to the clamp power at chucking time.
