PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive device which can rotate a disk at a high- speed, and which can suppress vibration of the error control signal, while maintaining the stability at the high-speed rotation. SOLUTION: In the disk drive device including a rotary means 3 for rotating the disk 2, an optical pickup 4 which irradiates the disk with a laser beam and which outputs a read signal corresponding to the reflected light of the laser beam, an error signal generating means which detects the displacement of the laser beam for the irradiation of the disk from the target track, according to the reading signal, and which outputs an error signal according to the detected result, a servo control means 21 which operates according to a clock signal having a prescribed frequency, and which generates a correction signal for correcting the displacement according to the error signal, and an adjustment means which adjusts the position of the optical pickup 4, according to the correction signal, the stability of the disk rotated at the high-speed is improved by setting the frequency of the clock signal supplied to the servo control means 21 higher than the normal.
