PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinch response type KARAOKE (orchestration without lyrics) machine enabling a user to switch a tune originally reserved by the user under the intention to sing into a backup tune separately specified by the user while the original tune is being played. SOLUTION: When the KARAOKE machine, which registers a tune specified by a user in a queue of performance reservation and sequentially plays the tune in a sequential order of reservation, receives a specific input operation while the reserved tune specified by the user is being played in accordance with the queue of performance reservation, the tune is switched into the backup tune separately specified by the user. When the performance of the backup tune is over, the KARAOKE machine resumes the performance order management based on the reservation queue. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
