OPTICAL CABLE WITH CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical cable with a connector which has sufficient tensile strength, maintain property set length of a separation area where the optical cable is separated into a pair of a separate tension part and an exposed core, and also keep the outward appearance of the separation part accompanied by a boot excellent. SOLUTION: The optical cable with the connector is equipped with an optical cable 10 having a pair of a tension member 4 and an optical fiber in a sheath 5 and the connector 11 having a ferrule 12 and a fixation part where the tension member 4 is fixed; and the optical fiber at one end part of the optical cable 10 is separated from the sheath 5 and connected to the ferrule 12 and the tension member 4 at one end part of the optical cable 10 is separated to form the separate tension part 6. Then the separated tension member 4 is fixed to the fixation part and a rupture restriction member 18 which prevent the separation of the sheath 5 from advancing is provided nearby the root of the separate tension part 6 of the optical cable 10.
