PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-developable photosensitive material excellent in film strength, rapid processability and inhibition of fogging and having good image preservability. SOLUTION: The heat-developable image recording material comprises on one face of a support at least one photosensitive silver halide, non-photosensitive organic silver salts, a reducing agent for a silver ion and a binder, wherein at least one of the non-photosensitive organic silver salts is the silver salt of a polymer containing a repeating unit derived from a monomer having a carboxyl group or a salt thereof and the average polymerization degree of the polymer is≤30.
