1. A bag stand comprising:
at least two subpanels, each subpanel being a unitary panel, each subpanel including at least two side panels, each side panel having a top end, a bottom end, and two adjacent side ends, each side panel connected to an adjacent side panel, each of the at least two subpanels connected to each other, the subpanels forming the bag stand when connecting the at least two subpanels together, the bag stand having a top end and a bottom end, the bag stand defining a top opening, a bottom opening, and an interior, the top opening sized to accept a refuse bag; and at least one connection mechanism included on each of the at least two subpanels for connecting to at least one adjacent subpanel, each connection mechanism including a connection finger and a connection recess, the connection finger connected proximate to a first end of each subpanel and the connection recess defined proximate to a second end of each subpanel, the connection finger including a clearance portion and a clasp portion and the connection recess including a clearance portion and a lock portion, the clearance portion of the connection recess of a first subpanel of the at least two subpanels sized to receive the clasp portion of the connection finger of a second subpanel of the at least two subpanels, the clasp portion configured to slide downward into the lock portion after the clearance portion of the connection finger passes fully into the clearance portion of the connection recess. |
