PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a mobile phone having emergency call function which allows anyone to easily make emergency calls. SOLUTION: In the mobile phone, which transmits an emergency call signal by closing a circuit of an alarm transmitting device 6 by bringing an antenna electrode 2 into contact with a positive electrode terminal 4 and a negative electrode terminal 5, provided on a bottom part 9 of an antenna storage groove, when the antenna 1 is pulled with force above a specified level and the antenna electrode 2 mounted on the tip of the lower part of the antenna 1 is separated from the antenna 1 and is dropped to the bottom part 9 of the antenna storage groove 3, the mobile phone is constituted with the signal of the alarm- transmitting device 6 being set as the signal for an emergency call number, set as the first of an abbreviated dial or the signal for ringing a buzzer incorporated in the mobile phone.
