PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is impossible to apply a distortion compensating device using digital signal processing to a system where processing delay is not allowable such as a repeater system due to the increase of processing delay. SOLUTION: This non-linear distortion compensating device is divided into two systems, that is, a compensation amplification processing system for distortion compensation-calculating, amplifying, and outputting a reception signal and an environment adaptive processing system for estimating a distortion value from the reception signal and an output signal, and for updating the estimation value of the distortion compensation arithmetic part. Thus, it is possible to realize the distortion compensating operation of low delay. Furthermore, it is possible to compensate even distortion generated in propagation or sneak-path by temporarily executing even demodulation and detection in the environment adaptive processing system.
