PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex piezoelectric filter by solving the problem that the out-pass band attenuation value of the filter characteristics of a monolithic multiple mode filter element is much more largely deteriorated than the attenuation value when it is singly operated. SOLUTION: In the complex piezoelectric filter housing a monolithic multiple mode filter element and a transversal type surface acoustic wave filter element in a package provided with a first stage mounting face configuring an internal bottom face, and a second stage mounting face disposed at the upper part of the first stage mounting face, when the transversal type surface acoustic wave filter element is mounted on the first stage mounting face, and the monolithic multiple mode filter element is mounted on the second stage mounting face, the electrode for shield of the transversal type surface acoustic wave filter element and the electrode with a ground potential of the divided electrodes of the monolithic multiple mode filter element are disposed so as to be faced to each other.
