PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the clogging of waste culms with a changeover guide plate for changing over the waste culm transportation from the side of a cutter to the side of a dropper in a waste culm guiding apparatus of a waste culm cutter of a combine harvester. SOLUTION: The waste culm guiding apparatus is installed in the waste culm cutter equipped with the changeover guide plate 2 for receiving the waste culms discharged and fed to a part of a waste grain culm feed port 1 and changing over and guiding the waste culms to the side A of the cutter on the lower side and the side B of the dropper on the rear side. In the waste culm cutter, the waste culm guiding apparatus is composed so that the changeover guide plate 2 is provided with waste culm guides 3 for guiding the waste culms to the side A of the cutter and the lower end of the guide posture to the side A of the cutter is installed so as to be opened C or openable E to the rear by pressure of the waste culms.
