METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATING ORGANIC MATTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic matter treatment apparatus for quickly taking suspensions or reaction residues out of a reaction apparatus and preventing clogging of the inside of the apparatus. SOLUTION: The organic matter treatment apparatus S comprises a hydrothermal reaction treatment part 1 which has a circulation path 2 and carries out hydrothermal reaction treatment of organic matter while circulating the organic matter in the circulation path 2 to produce an organic matter-containing liquid- phase substance; a solid-liquid separation apparatus 3 installed in the circulation path 2 for separating the liquid-phase substance into a liquid phase and a solid- phase containing solid matter more than the liquid-phase; and a discharge flow path 4 for continuously discharging the solid-phase separated by the solid-liquid separation apparatus 3 to the outside of the circulation path 2. The liquid-phase separated by the solid-liquid separation apparatus 3 is entirely turned back to the circulation path 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
