PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electret filter medium biodegradable, not generating the falling-off of fine particles, having a long life even under a high humidity condition and capable of simply restoring charge, and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The electret filter medium is constituted by applying charging treatment to a porous dielectric sheet comprising fiber aggregates containing polylactic acid as a biodegradable polyester and organic fine particles thermally fusion-bonded thereto.
