PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prize paying-out device and a prize paying-out method in which paying-out of a wrong prize is prevented from occurring by human error. SOLUTION: The prize paying-out device can store a plurality of prizes W to be delivered to a game player according to a result of pachinko game, and it is provided with a main body 2 having a prize delivery port 2c formed on the outside surface, a prize identification means to identify the kind of prizes W stored in the main body 2, a game result input means for inputting a result of the game, a prize selection means for selecting a kind or kinds of the prize to be delivered from the prizes identified by prize identification means according to the result of the game inputted by the game result input means, and a prize paying-out means 12 for delivering the prizes W selected by the prize selection means from the prize paying-out port 2c.
