PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which can efficiently be replaced with a new type of machine and which can output information according to the type of machine. SOLUTION: In the slot machine, a game can be started by setting the number of medals to be bet, a single game is finished by leading out and displaying the display result of reel units, and prescribed prize-winning can occur according to the displayed result. The slot machine comprises: a slot machine main body consisting of a casing and a front surface door; and a main unit fitted in an exchangeable manner. The main unit constituted by integrally assembling components comprising at least the reel units and a game controlling substrate, and is provided with: a main information output substrate and a sub information output substrate for outputting information characteristic of the type of the machine; and a common information output substrate for outputting information common to a plurality of types of machines. The main information output substrate and the sub information output substrate are provided to the main unit, and the common information output substrate is provided to the slot machine main body.
