PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniature motor with brush in which a three electrode varistor can be utilized and open circuit or short circuit of the crossover of a coil winding can be controlled. SOLUTION: In the three-phase coil winding of an armature 20, each in-phase winding employs three risers and two salient poles. Each in-phase winding comprises a zigzag part formed by connecting three salient poles from the binding parts of first risers (R1, R3, R5) to the binding parts of second risers (R4, R6, R2) in the forward direction sequentially with the back side, surface side and the back side while bending alternately, first coil parts (C<SB>11</SB>, C<SB>21</SB>, C<SB>31</SB>) formed by winding around the adjacent first salient poles (P6, P2, P4) reversely from the binding parts of the second risers, and second coil parts (C<SB>12</SB>, C<SB>22</SB>, C<SB>32</SB>) formed by winding around the second salient poles (P1, P3, P5) adjacent thereto in the forward direction. The in-phase winding is connected with the tangling parts of the first risers (R3, R5, R1) of different phase contiguous to each other in the forward direction from the second coil part wherein the winding direction of the first and second coil parts is reversed.
