EXHAUST MANIFOLD MADE FROM METAL PIPES OF INTERNAL- COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust manifold made from metal pipes of such a structure that a branch exhaust pipe 6 made from a metal pipe leading from other cylinder is connected in a T-shape with a main exhaust pipe 3 made from a metal pipe leading from one cylinder, capable of suppressing emission of high-frequency noises from the main exhaust pipe 3 resulting from the pres sure wave of the exhaust gas using a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A build up welding part 7 is formed on the outer surface of that part of the main exhaust pipe 3 located oppositely to the connection part of the branch exhaust pipe 6.
