PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter medium excellent not only in dimensional stability against heat load but also in disposal after use while keeping low ventilation resistance and high dust removing efficiency as a filter. SOLUTION: The filter is obtained by integrally joining a nonwoven fabric based on an electretized aliphatic polyester and a porous sheet by fusion bonding, and the shrinkage factor of the filter medium after a heat resistance test under a 80°C×1 hr condition is not more than 3%. The content of the aliphatic polyester is not less than 50 wt.% in the nonwoven fabric in consideration of dust removing efficiency and biodegradability. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
