PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a means for infrared ray reading at a high speed in the case of using the infrared rays for removing dirt and flaw on a transmitted original and reading a black-and-white reflected original at the high speed. SOLUTION: A dedicated read sensor is provided to read with the infrared rays, is a black-and-white sensor and is used to read a black-and-white reflected image at high speed when reading the black-and-white reflected original.
