PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproofing structure for a bathroom sliding door, which enables reduction of an operating force of the user and maintains the sealing performance of a packing over a long period of time, by shortening a distance over which the packing is dragged in a collapsed state. SOLUTION: The bathroom sliding door is constructed by movably hanging an upper roller 5 of the sliding door 4 for opening/closing a bathroom entrance from an upper rail 10 set on an upper portion of the bathroom entrance, and slidably guiding a lower guide 6 of the sliding door 4 along a lower guide rail 9 set on a lower portion of the bathroom entrance. According to the bathroom sliding door, the packing 11 is arranged over the entire length of a lower bed of the sliding door 4, and a rail step portion 12 is formed at an edge of the upper rail 10, corresponding to a location of door 4 closure, for stepwise descending the upper roller 5 together with the sliding door 4 by a predetermined gap, to thereby collapse the packing 11 due to the weight of the sliding door 4. Further, the sliding door 4 has a link mechanism 15 for limiting a retaining margin of the packing 11 by rotatively lowering the sliding door 4 about a point on the upper rail 10, when the sliding door is stepwise descended.
