PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for radiation image conversion panel with a small scattering of brightness by reducing the film thickness of stimulable phosphor layer formed on a support body, improving flatness, and improving adhesion to a sealing film. SOLUTION: By using a calender having a metal roll, a resin roll, a heating means for heating the rolls, a roll velocity controlling means, a means of pressing both the ends of the rolls, a roll gap measuring means and a roll gap controlling means in the production method for the radiation image conversion panel, a phosphor sheet having a stimulable phosphor layer on the support body is pinched between the metal roll and the resin roll, pressed and carried for calender processing.
