PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To report an original document size in a transmitting source to a receiving side. SOLUTION: In the facsimile equipment provided with a document size detecting means and a means for reporting the document size to the receiving side, the facsimile equipment is provided with a means for detecting the original document size sent from the transmitting source and a means for recording and displaying the detected document size.
