FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: Coriolis meter has explosion-proof case which is so built that it can withstand blast of volatile material inside case. Explosionproof case prevents sparking and heating caused by blast of volatile material outside of case. Any clearances and holes in explosion-proof case ensure sufficiently long path for flame to cool ignited or hot material going out of case. Usage of secondary case in the capacity of explosion-proof component makes it possible to employ high-power driving facility and traditional wires inside case.
