PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a liquid softener composition capable of stably manufacturing the liquid softener composition containing ester type quaternary ammonium salt at high concentration.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a liquid softener composition containing (A) a specific quaternary ammonium salt of 15 mass% to 30 mass% and water, where an emulsification process for forming an emulsion composition is conducted under a condition in presence of a specific cationic polymer with larger water amount than the (A) content.SELECTED DRAWING: None
