A method has a guide beam (4) incorporating a spirit level and a slide (2) fitted onto the top of the beam. One side of the slide has an adjustable wedge (3) which funnels screed (9) to the bottom lip where a defined strip of screed is laid as the slide is moved along the beam. The slide is U-shaped and the beam can be fitted with leveling means at one end to cater for sloping base layers. The system can also be used for wall coatings. |
