<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayered golf ball improved in spin. <P>SOLUTION: The golf ball includes a core, an intermediate layer and a cover layer. The intermediate layer is formed of a polymer blend containing an ionomer having at least 16% of an acid group and a grafted metallocene polymer and the cover layer includes a castable reactive liquid material. The castable reactive liquid material can be thermosetting or thermoplastic polyurethane, polyurea, urethane ionomer, urethane expoxy or a mixture of them. The grafted metallocene polymer is formed of an ethylene homopolymer or copolymer and a secondary olefin including propylene, butene, pentene, hexene, heptene, octene and norbornene. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
