FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: kitchen utensil has infrared temperature measuring sensor located in the vicinity of utensil so that it percepts radiation issued by heated surface. When connected to electronic circuit, sensor is capable of converting into electric signal of any variation in infrared radiation due to heating of utensil.
