PURPOSE: A skip shift control method of a vehicle is provided to prevent an abnormal shift shock and obtain an optimal response property for acceleration intension of a driver by performing a skip shift at the initial stage of shift by adding a standard of judgment for change rates of a throttle and a turbine. CONSTITUTION: A skip shift control method of a vehicle is composed of steps of inputting throttle and speed signals(110); deciding a desired gear level output by a standard of a shift pattern(120); computing change rates(dNt,dTh) of a turbine and the throttle during a predetermined time of an initial stage of shift(130); comparing and deciding the change rates of the turbine and the throttle with a constant value(140); and ignoring the initial gear level and performing a skip shift control if the change rate of the turbine is larger than 2000rpm/sec or the change rate of the throttle is larger than 400%/sec(150).
