PURPOSE: Provided is a sterilizing apparatus being capable of increasing antibacterial activity and electrolysis efficiency by modifying a feature and a structure of electrodes in an electrolyzer not to use catalyst plate and prevent scale deposition onto the electrodes. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a valve body including a hollow cylinder, a water inlet(11) formed at a side of the cylinder, a water outlet(12) formed at the opposite side of the cylinder, an upper flange(14) and a lower flange(16) being coupled to an upper and a lower end portions of the cylinder, respectively; a lower plate assembly with a lower plate(16) being coupled to the lower flange and having a packing(22) thereon; an upper cover assembly with an upper cover(30) being coupled to the upper flange(14); and a cylinder block(18) having a connection(18a) connected to the water inlet(11) and being provided in the center of the main body; and a cylinder-shape positive electrode(19) provided in the cylinder block(18), wherein the lower plate assembly includes a multi-step cylindrical protrusion(21) extending from the lower plate, a negative electrode(23) extending through the cylindrical protrusion(21) and being protruded from the top of the cylindrical protrusion(21) at one end, and an insulation tube(25) surrounding the negative electrode(23), and wherein the upper cover assembly includes a penetrating hole formed at the center of the upper cover(30), a thread cylinder with screw threads at the outer and inner surfaces thereof, the thread cylinder extending from the penetrating hole of the upper cover(30), a pressure stitch(32) installed in the thread cylinder, a switch casing(33) for casing the switch(32), a nut(35) arranged to surround the circumference of the thread cylinder to keep the position of the switch(32) and the casing(33) in the thread cylinder, and a diaphragm(40) being consisted of a rubber disc(41) and a protrusion(42) to be connected to a knob(32a) of the switch(32).
