<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimmer capacitor for improving productivity and reliability sharply, by effectively preventing cracks from occurring at a rotor substrate. <P>SOLUTION: An almost disk-shaped rotor substrate made of dielectric and having a fan-like rotor electrode on the upper face is mounted, and an almost rectangular through-hole is drilled at the center of the rotor substrate. A tuning pin, having a fitting part with almost rectangular cross section, is inserted in the through-hole. In the trimmer capacitor, the area of the rotor substrate between a stator electrode and the rotor electrode is varied by turning the tuning pin to adjust the capacity. A plane part almost orthogonal to one diagonal of the through-hole is provided at the peripheral edge face of the rotor substrate, and an inner peripheral part at corners of the through-hole nearest to the plane part has a recessed curve shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
