<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection type sensor in which light emission and light reception are integrated to reduce the size and to enhance precision, in a photo-sensor for detecting and measuring characteristics such as the displacement, color tone and color shade of a substance. <P>SOLUTION: In this reflection type photosensor, a through hole is provided in the central part of a photo-receiving face of a photoreception element, a light guide or a shielding cylinder is inserted into the hole, a measuring object is irradiated with light from a luminescent element as a point light source, and the optical axis of the irradiation light is made coincident with the optical axis of the photoreception element to receive the reflected light on a photoreception element face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
