The proposed phase distance meter contains a two-frequency radio signal transmitter, a two-frequency radio signal receiver, two difference frequency converters, a phase detector, and a measuring unit. The transmitter contains two radio signal generators, each of which generates radio signals with a specified frequency. The inputs of the first converter are connected to the outputs of the generators. The inputs of the second converter are connected to the output of the receiver. The outputs of the phase detector are accordingly connected to the outputs of the converters, and the output is connected to the input of the measuring unit. The present invention provides a possibility to decrease errors in measuring distance.
