PURPOSE: A device for fixing an optical connector of a communication equipment is provided to install a pierced hole piercing through a panel surface on a front panel, and to dispose a connector housing having a connector receiving space to receive the optical connector and inserted into the pierced hole, thereby reducing cost and time of manufacture. CONSTITUTION: An optical connector fixing device comprises as follows. A pierced hole(22) pierces through a panel surface on a front panel(21). A connector housing(50) has a connector receiving space to receive an optical connector(30), and is fixed into the pierced hole(22). The connector housing(50) comprises as follows. A housing body(51a) receives one region of a body(31) of the optical connector(30) and a projection(33), and forms the connector receiving space so that the rest regions are exposed from the projection(33) of the body(31). A flange(51b) is contacted with a part of the pierced hole(22) of the front panel(21) on an opening of the housing body(51a).
