<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component mounter for mounting a component more quickly to a specified position on a board while relaxing the impact. <P>SOLUTION: The Z shaft 42 of a working head 40 is held slidably up and down in the range of a height (h) by a Z shaft supporting shaft 41 which can move up/down and rotate freely, and an actuator 57 comprising a linear motor consisting of a coil 53, a ring permanent magnet 56 and a yoke body 55 is formed between the nozzle holder 38 of the Z shaft 42 and the lower end of the Z shaft supporting shaft 41. A position sensor 46 of the Z shaft 42 and a pneumatic sensor 47 are disposed in the Z shaft supporting shaft 41. Vertical thrust of the actuator 57 is controlled such that the sum of forces generated from acceleration of the Z shaft supporting shaft 41, weight of the nozzle holder 48, and vacuum pressure in the Z shaft supporting shaft 41 becomes an appropriate command of holding force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
