<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-directional input device which is excellent in assemblability and inexpensive. <P>SOLUTION: When an operation shaft 6a is tilt operated, a first interlock member 4 and a second interlock member 5 assembled inside an enclosure 1 by crossing rotating shafts at the right angle to each other rotate against an elastic biasing force of a coil spring 2 and the rotation operation is detected by detector members 7 and 8, respectively. When a tilt operation force to the operation shaft 6a is eliminated, each of the interlock members 4 and 5 is pushed back by the coil spring 2 and returns to postures before rotation. Since each of the interlock members 4 and 5 is provided with the elastic biasing force against rotation by the coil spring 2 at a stage when they are assembled into the enclosure 1 by installing the coil spring 2 for recovery between a peripheral part of an upper opening 1a of the enclosure 1 and coil reception parts 4d and 5d of each of the interlock members 4 and 5, there is no fear that each of the interlock members 4 and 5 rotates by itself when each of the interlock members 4 and 5 is interlocked with the detector members 7 and 8 corresponding to each of the members 4 and 5 at the next assembling process and the operation shaft 6a is held in a standing posture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
