<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent continuity failure between a center electrode and secondary winding in an ignition device for an internal combustion engine having an ignition plug part and an ignition coil part integrated and installed on the cylinder head. <P>SOLUTION: A connection means in which the center electrode 22 and the secondary winding 32 are electrically connected with getting in contact when an ignition plug part 2 and an ignition coil part 3 are integrated includes a cylindrical coil shaped spring 7. The spring 7 elastically deforms in axial directions of both cases 100, 200 and a primary spool 34 is pushed in an insulator 20 side during assembling. Since the spring 7 is elastically deformed to maintain contact condition of the spring 7 and a stem 21, it is hard for the contact part to separate due to vibration. Consequently, continuity failure between the center electrode and the secondary winding can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
